Outerbase Joins Cloudflare's Workers Launchpad

In case you missed the live announcement at Cloudflare Builders Day, I’m excited to announce it here (albeit a bit delayed) that Outerbase is part of the Cloudflare’s Workers Launchpad Cohort #4! We were accepted alongside other cutting-edge startups pushing the boundaries of serverless and AI technologies, and we are absolutely thrilled to be a part of it.

This affords us the opportunity to accelerate Outerbase even beyond what we have currently been doing, by giving us access to valuable internal resources, partnering with other leading startups, and you know the $250K of Cloudflare credits don’t hurt either.

What does Cloudflare have to do with Outerbase?

Well to begin, we recently partnered with them to build an OAuth integration into their D1 offering. Not only that but we’ve released Starbase an http accessible database built directly on top of their new durable object sqlite offering.

In addition to all of their amazing database offerings, we also have an exciting new feature in beta called Commands, completely written on top of Cloudflare Workers. That means you will be able to run javascript right on top of your databases to get more granular insights. We’ll talk more about this in another blog post in the near future, but Cloudflare made this so easy to deploy, and more importantly made it secure by default.

What’s Next?

I can’t wait to show you everything we have been cooking up with Cloudflare and Commands. If you have an immediate need please reach out to me at hello@outerbase.com In the meantime though, go ahead and connect your d1 instance to Outerbase, and start exploring your data.
